Megan Huntz is an American slow fashion designer, living and designing from her hometown of Atlanta, GA. Having enjoyed art since she was a teen, Megan is determined to bring couture fashion to the everyman — or, woman. Her affection for design started at an early age which lead her to pursue a degree at Pratt Institute, and later to Milan to study at Domus Academy, where she earned a Master’s in fashion design. She worked for nearly a decade for elite brands such as the denim brand Meltin’ Pot, Spazio Lazaro of Treviso and as a denim design consultant for the MaxMara denim lines, before branching off to create her own line of hand-dyed, washed silk dresses.
Despite her growing career in Milan, Huntz made the decision to close her showroom and relaunch her collection in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia over fashion hotspots like New York or L.A. A decision not understood by all, Huntz found her roots to be the most creative space possible for her unique and humble collection. What started out as a simple collection of 10 dresses has grown into an accessible and affordable collection for fashion-loving women.
