Minimalism, exclusivity and diversity have rarely been known to live in the same house but Hackwith Design has done just that, “Instead of designing for mass production, we immerse ourselves wholeheartedly in the process and create every piece with the intention of it becoming that special highlight of your closet. We create less than 25 of each piece, which makes all of them uniquely rare and special.”
As we scrolled through the Hackwith Design Website the only thing that impressed us more then their keen eye for sophisticated simplicity was their eye for diversity. Their models range in race, ethnicity, size and body type (slim, curvy, athletic build..). It is so rare to find designers, even in our times, willing to see their clothing on many different body types. Hackwith demonstrates that this can and should be done with grace and beauty.
Hackwith doesn’t fail to continue to impress onlookers with it’s dedication to transparency, “It’s important to know where and how your clothing is being made. We begin with a sketch, handpick fine fabrics from all over the world, and then sew the piece in our Minneapolis Studio. We want these pieces to be special and we want them to last, so we make sure that the quality of our garments is outstanding.”
If you’re looking to be wowed each week instead of each season you’ll be happily surprised that Hackwith delivers new designs not each season but each Monday, “We believe that a favorite piece of clothing is one that is versatile and can be worn again and again, so a lot of our designs are not limited to seasons but are meant to be enjoyed year round. Because of that, we decided not to design and sell our clothing in collections but to release one new design every Monday.” See more on their site, http://hackwithdesignhouse.com and tell us how much you love it below.
